April presented significant challenges for VOAN due to escalating air pollution in Kathmandu. The deteriorating air quality led to a surge in respiratory issues among street animals, including symptoms like sneezing, coughing, and breathing difficulties.
In response, our veterinary team intensified efforts to treat affected animals. We administered medications, provided supportive care, and implemented protective measures to shield animals from the harsh environmental conditions.
Despite these challenges, VOAN continued its routine activities:
April also marked World Veterinary Day on April 26, celebrating the collaborative efforts in veterinary care. VOAN acknowledges the dedication of our veterinary team and volunteers who work tirelessly to improve animal welfare
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to our supporters and donors. Your contributions enable us to continue our mission of rescuing and caring for Nepal's street animals.
